Council Tax discounts and exemptions

There are more discounts and exemptions for Council Tax for occupied and unoccupied properties. 

Occupied properties

Even when there is more than one adult living at an address, some people are not counted when calculating Council Tax. If after excluding those not counted there is only one or no people remaining you may qualify for a reduction on your bill.

It is possible that some properties do not need to pay council tax and there are some circumstances to pay reduced Council Tax.
