• view your benefit notifications, letters and messages
• renew your garden waste subscription or join the garden waste subscription service
• check payments made and due
• tell us about a change of address or name change
• apply for discounts you are eligible for
• track the progress of your requests
• receive notifications when we have updates for you

How to sign up

Register for My Account to access your council tax account and more. 

Step 1 – register for My Account

You can register for My Account with your email address or mobile number:

You will receive an email asking you to confirm your account details. 

You are now registered for My Account.

Step 2 – access your services

To access Council Tax: 

• log into My Account and click Council Tax
• enter your 8-digit council tax account number, which starts with the number '2' - this extra security ensures your online account is safe and secure
• click Register

To renew your garden waste subscription or join the service:

• log into My Account and click Garden waste
• follow the instructions to find the garden waste form

To access benefits:

• log into My Account and click Benefit claims
• enter your benefit claim number, which starts with the number '5' or '6', date of birth and national insurance number - this extra security ensures your online account is safe and secure
• click Register

Step 3 – set your preferences

You can click to receive account bills and messages.

You now have immediate access to all of your council tax information, including bills.
