To report a noise complaint online, you’ll need:

• the exact address where the noise is coming from
• to answer all questions on the form as clearly and fully as you can
• to start gathering evidence if the noise is frequent or causing a significant disturbance

Gather evidence

You can use noise diary sheets and the Noise App to gather evidence:

• Noise diary sheet (DOCX, 224.09KB) – write down when the noise happens and how it affects you and send to us when you report online
   
• Noise App 2.0 (Noise App for iPhone or Noise App for Android) – record the noise as it happens or attach a short video clip – the app sends your recordings directly to us

We may not be able to investigate your complaint without enough evidence. Starting to gather this early can help us avoid delays.
