Community grants and funding

To apply, follow our two-step process. 

Step 1: Submit an expression of interest (EOI)

Tell us what you want to do and how much funding you need. We’ll review your idea against our Vision and funding criteria and match it to the most suitable funding stream.

If your project meets our criteria, we will contact you to:

• discuss your project in more detail
• explore opportunities to collaborate or learn from existing projects
• explain the full application process

If your idea doesn’t align with our Vision or priorities, we’ll let you know and signpost you to other funding options.

We'll get back to you within 5 working days. 

Step 2: Submit a full application

We’ve made the application process as simple as possible. But because we’re using public money, we need to carry out some checks.

In your full application, you’ll need to show:

• the benefits of your project
• evidence of need and public support
• what you aim to achieve
• any match funding or collaboration with other organisations (this will strengthen your application)
