Hot weather can be dangerous, especially for the very young or very old or those with chronic disease. Find out where to get information and advice.

Ultraviolet radiation (UV) from the sun can damage your eyes and skin. Don’t get caught out by the strength of the sun.

Make sure you are drinking the correct amount of fluids every day. Even if the weather is not as hot as you expect or you are less active, the body still needs to be well hydrated with water (or tea, coffee or juice, but not alcohol).
