CIL: Apply for local funding
Applications for 2026 closed at midnight on Sunday 15 March 2026.
The closing date for submitted CIL applications to be validated was midnight on Sunday 12 April. Applications that were not validated by this date will not be considered.
What happens next
Local spending boards will meet in June and July to review applications submitted and allocate funding.

Meeting dates for local spending boards are:
- East and West Molesey: 4 June 2026
- Esher and Hersham: 11 June 2026
- Cobham and Downside, Oxshott and Stoke d’Abernon: 25 June 2026
- Walton-on-Thames: 2 July 2026
- Oatlands and Burwood Park, Weybridge Riverside and St George’s Hill: 9 July 2026
- Hinchley Wood and Weston Green, Long Ditton and Thames Ditton: 15 July 2026
Funding available
The table below sets out the amount of local CIL funding available for allocation by each local spending board at the end of quarter 4 of the 2025 to 2026 financial year (March 2026).
The figures give you an indication of the level of funding likely to be available for projects in the current funding round when applications open.
