Volunteers are vital to our community. We have lots of opportunities for volunteering in Elmbridge.
There are volunteering opportunities to suit everyone, from meals on wheels to support in our centres for the community, and from countryside volunteers to healthy walk leaders.
You can volunteer with community services, family support, our countryside team, wellbeing walks and cycles rides and local sports clubs.
If you are interested in becoming a meals on wheels volunteer or you would like to help at our centres for the community, see volunteer with community support.
Could you volunteer with our family support team to support families facing unemployment, domestic abuse and isolation by helping to provide social and practical support, for example with children's homework, hospital visits, a listening ear, gardening and decorating.
For further information, please contact fspvolunteer@elmbridge.gov.uk or call on 01372 474375.
If you care about your environment and want to do something to make a difference, why not join our group of countryside volunteers? As a countryside volunteer, you will carry out conservation tasks across local countryside sites. Countryside Rangers will be on hand to answer any questions you might have.

Volunteers are the key to a successful sports club. There are various ways sports clubs can recruit volunteers, either through existing memberships or by contacting and advertising for specific positions through Volunteer Action Elmbridge, the local volunteer centre.
