Walton Charity is a local charity based in Elmbridge that provides almshouse accommodation for people aged over 55.
These almshouses are for people aged over 55 who want to live in a safe and supportive environment.
They offer self-contained flats with modern amenities, a large communal lounge, kitchen and gardens. Residents can take part in regular activities, including game nights, coffee mornings, a gardening club and exercise classes. Both almshouses are close to public transport.
A dedicated housing and maintenance team is available, along with a 24/7 on-call emergency system.
A hardship fund is also available for residents who need financial support.
Residents pay a weekly maintenance contribution that includes water and heating bills. They live in the property under a licence granted by the charity.
