To register to vote, you will need to:

If you have recently applied to register to vote, you can check when your details will go onto the electoral register.
If you do not have a fixed address, you can register to vote by filling in a declaration of local connection form. This applies if you’re:

The electoral register and Council Tax records are separate and contain different information. Registering to vote does not register you for Council Tax. In the same way, registering for Council Tax does not register you to vote.
