The meals on wheels service provides freshly cooked hot meals direct to your door.
Due to current capacity limitations, we are now only taking referrals for new hospital discharge clients who do not have the support of Surrey County Council's Adult Social Care team. We will provide a service up to a maximum of 6 weeks from discharge, but not beyond 20 December 2025.
Meals on Wheels provides delicious hot meals direct to your door, across all of the borough. Our service allows people to remain independent in their own home.
We can provide a range of specialised diets such as vegetarian, gluten free, soft or diabetic. We try to provide meals that meet the medical and cultural needs of our customers.
And our service isn’t just a hot meal! Our friendly volunteer delivery drivers have a quick chat with everyone on the round.
The Meals on Wheels service is for people who:
Frozen meals can be provided for the weekend if the resident has family or friends visiting who can heat these up. These are delivered alongside the Friday hot meal before the weekend.
Our service can deliver a lunchtime meal to your door.

We process applications during the week (9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday). We are not open at the weekends or during the bank holidays.
The turnaround time to process meals on wheels referrals is 3 working days, and therefore your online form needs to have a start date of at least 3 working days from completion.
