How to register as a practitioner and register your premises, view the list of registered skin and body piercers and relevant Elmbridge byelaws.
The following businesses and practitioners are required by law to register with us if they wish to operate in the borough, even if they are registered elsewhere:
- acupuncture
- tattooing
- semi-permanent skin colouring
- cosmetic piercing
- electrolysis treatments
Generally, the activities can only be carried out at a registered premises. Therefore it is necessary to have a registration certificate for the premises and a practitioners registration certificate for each practitioner working at the premises.
Fees
Once you have completed the registration forms, you will need to pay the appropriate one-off fee:
- premises registration: £297
- practitioner registration: £142
Replacement of lost or damaged registration certificates:
- premises replacement certificate: £10.50
- practitioner replacement certificate: £10.50
