Council Tax Support

You can claim Council Tax Support if you:

• rent or own your home (you must live there as your main place of residence)
• pay Council Tax
• are on a low income, or no income at all
• have savings below £16,000 (if you, or your partner receive Pension Guarantee Credits we accept claims with capital over £16,000)

If you are a non-UK national and not in the EU or EEA, check if your immigration status lets you get benefits and help with housing (Citizens Advice).
